Celebrate Songkran 2025 in Style at “Kudthai 2025” — A Cultural Showcase in the Heart of Bangkok
A one-of-a-kind Songkran celebration blending Thai food, crafts, and entertainment across the EM District
To mark the Thai New Year in 2025, Gourmet Market and Gourmet Eats under The Mall Group present “Kudthai 2025: Only Thailand’s Best & Beyond,” a large-scale cultural event running from March 27 to April 20, 2025 across three prime Bangkok venues: EmQuartier, Emporium, and Emsphere.
The event is designed to showcase Thailand’s identity in every dimension—through food, local products, design, and entertainment—with three themed markets that celebrate Thai heritage and innovation.
At EmQuartier, the Thai Origin Market (April 3–16) features over 170 premium products from 55 top-tier vendors across Thailand. Highlights include rare durians like Musang King and Black Thorn from Chanthaburi, Thai-grown Hokkaido sweet corn, and grilled skewers made from Tajima Doi beef—the 2023 World Champion Thai beef. Visitors can also discover artisan rice, organic vegetables from Phetchabun, and debut treats like Palm Seed Pie from Chiang Mai.
Emporium plays host to the Thai Pop Market (March 27 – April 20), where modern meets traditional. Explore pop-up crafts from the upcoming THAITHAI MARKET, colorful Hanuman herbal inhalers, contemporary Thai-patterned homeware from SUCHAI CRAFT, and hand-painted sculptures by Elephant Parade. Cultural workshops and live DJ sets mixing Thai vinyl with electronic beats round out the experience. Shoppers spending THB 8,000 will receive a limited-edition DIY handbag from the event.
Meanwhile, Emsphere’s Em Market becomes the cultural hotspot of the Thai Tainment Market (April 3–20), with over 40 celebrated Thai restaurants and food vendors, including the iconic Pornsiri Suki, Chiang Mai’s Krua Chiang Mai, and spicy southern curry pop-ups.
