The Standard to Open New Hotel in Singapore This Fall
Singapore - Hotel group The Standard has announced it will open its fifth property in the Asia Pacific region, The Standard, Singapore, in the fourth quarter of 2024.
This follows successful launches in Southeast Asia with The Standard, Hua Hin (2021) and The Standard, Bangkok Mahanakhon (2022), both recognised by Condé Nast Traveler's Hot List. The Hua Hin property was also named Best Resort in Southeast Asia.

Nestled on prestigious Orange Grove Road, The Standard, Singapore is a stone's throw from the 150-year-old UNESCO Botanic Gardens and the vibrant Orchard Road shopping district. This location embodies Singapore's vision of a "City in a Garden."

The hotel, designed by Standard International's in-house team in collaboration with Ministry of Design, aims to facilitate cultural exchange. With 143 thoughtfully designed rooms across eight floors, each offering floor-to-ceiling windows showcasing the pool and surrounding greenery, guests can enjoy a tranquil environment.

The Garden, a green space stretching across the first and second floors, leads up to the pool. Art installations and carefully selected landscaping enhance the experience, particularly during Singapore's vibrant sunsets. The property pays homage to the nearby botanical gardens by incorporating works from local artists and artisans.
Uniform Design Blends Tradition and Modernity
Uniforms for The Standard, Singapore were designed by Shone Puipia, blending the practicality of traditional uniforms with vibrant contrasting hues and textures.
