Enjoying the delicate taste of Norway with Fjord Trout, the Remarkable Creation from the Norwegian Fjords

To promote such high-quality fresh Fjord Trout also known as ‘Jewel of the Norwegian Fjords’ in Thailand, Norwegian Seafood Council (NSC) joined hand with Thammachart Seafood to organize an exclusive chef's table, ‘Fjord Trout, the Remarkable Creation from the Norwegian Fjords’, inviting guests to indulge in the gastronomic journey of Fjord Trout and fresh Norwegian seafood presented by Chef Max - Nuntawat Chanyalikit, the winner of MasterChef Thailand Season 3 at 80’Below, a premium seafood restaurant that harbors seafood experiences from every corner of the world on 25 – 26 May 2022.

With passion and intense experience in cooking competition, the acclaimed Chef Max created 6-wonderful-dish course featuring fresh premium-quality seafood from Norway with Fjord Trout as the highlight. The course consisted of Pan-seared Dry-aged Fjord Trout with Thai-styled oyster risotto, Smoked Norwegian Fjord Trout on quinoa salad and coriander cream cheese tartelette, Deep-fried Norwegian Salmon Fillet, gor-lar sauce and Thai-styled salsa jelly, Beetroot-cured Norwegian Salmon with Thai-styled hot and sour turmeric soup, Dry-aged Norwegian Fjord Trout yuzu granita, and Norwegian Fjord Trout cake with sweet trout coconut spread and coconut ice-cream. With its taste that can be enjoyed raw or lightly cooked, Fjord Trout can be created for both savory and sweet dishes, making this particular course a distinctive Nordic-inspired culinary experience.
In addition to the exclusive chef’s table by Chef Max, Thammachart Seafood, in collaboration with Norwegian Seafood Council (NSC), also launched a special promotion, ‘Fjord Trout Premium Gift’, comprised of a Premium NSC box, small Seafood From Norway cooler bag, Recipe Card, Fjord Trout Fillet (Tail), and Fjord Trout Fillet (Family Pack) to educate Thai consumers about Fjord Trout and how to cook this unique fish and to promote Seafood from Norway origin mark.
