Premium Gundagai Lamb: A Culinary Experience
Indulge in culinary excellence at the exclusive Gundagai Lamb dinner, featuring world-renowned chefs and premium Australian lamb
Meat & Livestock Australia (MLA) and Gundagai Meat Processors, in partnership with JAGOTA BROTHERS TRADING CO, recently invited top chefs and hospitality industry leaders to the exclusive “Gundagai Lamb” dinner, featuring a wine pairing from St. Hugo Australia.
This event took the exceptional quality of Gundagai Lamb to center stage, with four renowned chefs: Ian Kittichai of Khum Hom Restaurant, Wilfrid Hocquet of Blue by Alain Ducasse, Yakup Tangsongsirisak of Fat Lamb BKK, and Chan Kwok Hung (Chef Jacky) of Hei Yin Restaurant. The four culinary masters showcases their skills with exceptional dishes crafted from Gundagai Lamb.
“The goal of this event was to give some of the best chefs in Thailand the opportunity to experience the superior taste, tenderness and quality of Australian Lamb. The chefs created a great range of signature dishes across 4 distinct and different styles of cuisines showing the versatility of Australian lamb. MLA has worked collaboratively with Gundagai Lamb to create consistent quality standards which can deliver a premium experience to consumers every time they order”, said Juthamas Kaewnoi, Business Development Manager-Thailand, Meat and Livestock Australia.”
Supported by MLA, this event highlighted the superior quality and versatility of GLQ5+. Four talented chefs from Bangkok designed and created a recipe each using a different cut of lamb, across a variety of different cuisines. These would be shared with up to 50 of Thailand’s finest chefs, who would be able to experience this product firsthand.

As the only lamb brand to objectively grade Lamb for quality attributes, this event evoked a conversation around the importance of grading in Lamb, as well as key features of the brand including working with farmers and sustainability.
