Embrace your emotions and delve into the world of art at the impactful exhibition, "Life is Less Without Art," by renowned Thai architect Sompong Panich.

artUnleashing Emotions Through Art

Having transitioned into a dedicated artist alongside his role as a collector, Sompong's latest offering invites visitors to embark on a journey of self-discovery and interpretation. His sculptures, while simple in form, capture the complex dynamics of human connection. Displayed at the Inspiration Space in the Charoen Krung district, the exhibition allows each viewer to weave their own stories into the artist's captivating works.

Inspiration from Unexpected Places

Sompong's artistic spark comes from his fascination with clay's unique texture and a long-standing fascination with a particular abandoned house. For over 30 years, this location, brimming with hidden treasures and untold stories, has fueled Sompon's creative fire. His art pieces serve as a fusion of artistic expression and the artist's inner spirit.

A Space for Emotional Release

Working within a confined space, the artist utilizes his art to convey profound emotions. Bare clay, imprinted with his raw feelings, hangs suspended from heavy industrial structures, creating a powerful counterpoint. This juxtaposition is meant to evoke a sense of release, encouraging visitors to confront their own emotions and find solace in artistic beauty.

Experience the Power of Art

"Life is Less Without Art" opens its doors to the public for free from July 5th to August 3rd, from noon to 7 pm daily (closed Mondays and Tuesdays). The exhibition is situated on the second floor of C43: Fashion and Inspiration Space within the Charoen 43 Art and Eatery project.
